Abenteuer & Allrad 2023 was our best trade show yet - we had ample space to exhibit four trucks - an MAN TGS 6x6 L Cab with a Type A Family 7100 layout, a Mercedes-Benz Arocs 4x4 L Cab with a Type C 5950 Layout, PROJECT RHINO XL Family 175 with a 5600 module and PROJECT RHINO with a 4300 module.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by to say hi and stuck around for a one-on-one with our crew.

At KRUG EXPEDITION we believe in casting a wider net to involve like-minded individuals and companies to add value to the daily flow of meetings at Abenteuer & Allrad. For that reason, visitors were able to join timed events throughout Friday and Saturday.

Among the event line up was a live call with Joe Pietersen of Nkombe Rhino to learn more about wildlife conservation in South Africa and to discuss our ongoing involvement through PROJECT RHINO and PROJECT RHINO XL. Joe touched on important subjects around his ongoing quest to save as many Rhinos as possible from poaching. We spoke about how local businesses, corporations and the tourism industry at large are stepping up and doing ‘more’.

Markus Gruse of offroad-motorhomes provided insights into how he and his team ensure smooth travels through a thorough consultation and services prior to long-term or high-altitude trips, remote trouble shooting, express-shipping spare parts and more. Always a must-listen-to, Markus’ wealth of knowledge is hard to beat when it comes to making sure your trip unfolds carefree!

Hugo Theunissen and Ignacio Fernández Escalona of Expeditionmeister.com are on a clear path to expand their already benchmark-setting platform to sell expedition trucks and overlanding vehicles within an eco system of trust. Implementing technology infused with incredible drive, focus and enthusiasm is what makes these two entrepreneurs so authentic and compelling.

Torben Koening and Luciano Tedesco generously shared their know-how regarding all things shipping your truck to all four corners of the world. Topics ranged from the inner workings of shipping companies, timing your shipment and its destination, booking a slot, insurance, risk management and ‘coming home’ among others. One thing is for sure - you are in the best of hands with Caravan Shippers!
