KRUG EXPEDITION Modules are constructed using reinforced sandwich panels with superior insulation and performance characteristics. KRUG EXPEDITION modules are completely free of cold bridges, which not only prevents condensation inside the module, but also means less energy consumption in extreme cold and hot environments.
Both the inside and outside of the wall and ceiling panels are coated with a GRP laminate. Due to the extremely high fibreglass percentage of 70% and its cros woven structure, the outer GRP laminate is extraordinarily resistant to mechanical influences. This is one of the quality features that distinguishes us from our competitors.

The water treatment system Seagull IV-X2 comes with a carbon activated pre-filter that ensures the effective removal of chemical and visible contaminants, including herbicides, pesticides, chlorine. Furthermore, the filter removes bad taste, odours and turbidity. It is integrated into the kitchen unit and offers a filter capacity of 0.4 micron. The next layer of water treatment is UV LED unit. Its purpose is to eliminate any residual bacteria or viruses that were not filtered
out in the previous stages.

Nowadays, poaching is the biggest threat to the safety and wellbeing of wildlife in South Africa. Alongside Nkombe Rhino’s vision, hopefully one day we will see wild and free-running rhinos with their magnificent horns, without ever being threatened to be killed for it.
