OVERVIEW

KRUG EXPEDITION was founded on the idea of transforming modern expedition travel through innovation. Habitats that were affordable, of the highest quality and at the same time equally practical and comfortable was the aim.


Since it was established in 2011, KRUG EXPEDITION has evolved into a unique manufacturer, offering a 360 degree portfolio of series modules, custom projects, parts and lightweight solutions like the 7.5t complete-truck solution PROJECT RHINO.


At its headquarters in the Austrian Alps, a variety of storage solutions are available. To complete the full spectrum of expedition vehicle needs, regular maintenance and repairs are carried out by our crew of seasoned technical staff. We build it, store it, fix it for you to enjoy it!

Our already proven solutions have a large selection of special equipment that can be configured to expand your living space according to your individual needs.


Based on decades of experience and the special and demanding requirements of our customers, we have developed a number of standard living modules with various layouts in different lengths.


For vehicle body lengths from 4.6 to 7 meters, we offer four different standard layout concepts, each of which fulfils a specific set of requirements corresponding to different needs and purposes.

Based on a Mercedes-Benz Atego Chassis, the complete-truck solution PROJECT RHINO fills a niche in the truck offering, by keeping things light for several reasons:


Staying below the 7.5t mark, allows for some driver’s license holders to be able to drive the truck without needing to gain an additional license.


Furthermore, trucks below the 7.5t enjoy less restrictions on highways and have privileged access in cities.
