SPRING 2022 UPDATE
Austrian expedition truck manufacturer KRUG EXPEDITION has its roots in the Ukraine. Each living module is made in a facility belonging to the KRUG group in Cherkasy, a city south of Kiev.
As the war in Ukraine continues, we feel compelled to share an update with you that touches on various subjects that may be of interest.

KRUG IN UKRAINE
At the time of writing this, the offices and production of the KRUG group in Cherkasy have not been affected by shelling, and the premises are safely under our control.
Production runs at about a fifth capacity, with a focus on getting more modules ready for transportation to a new production site within the EU. More on these developments will be revealed over the next weeks.

KRUG EXPEDITION IN AUSTRIA
Our local team is expanding, including some colleagues who safely evacuated from Ukraine and wanted to come back to work. We are grateful for the opportunities these unspeakably difficult times provide and are humbled by the spirit and work ethic of everyone here.
We continue to welcome customers in Schladming!
You can come and meet us, and take the opportunity to take a first-hand look at all the modules and trucks we have at our premises at the moment.
There probably has never been a time where our yard was more packed with modules and trucks ready to be finished! We are looking forward to meeting more interested people face to face in lieu of an otherwise scheduled in-house expo.

HUMANITARIAN AID DELIVERIES AND DONATIONS
First of all, we wish to extend thanks to the generosity of the KRUG family who immediately followed our call for donations and came together in an incredible sign of support and strength.
Until now, we were able to send two aid deliveries to Ukraine, and a third is in preparation. More on the development of aid deliveries will be shared as the situations on the roads will inform our abilities to reach Zhytomyr or Cherkasy. Find more details about the aid deliveries here.
Over the course of the last few weeks, local support from various offices, communities and individuals unfolded. The heartfelt concern and lasting interest has sparked fantastic initiatives, and the local hospital in Schladming managed to create an official donation account, which can be used to receive donations directly supporting our humanitarian aid efforts to support Ukraine.
When making a donation, you can dedicate your monetary donation to KRUG to make sure it will either support refugees from the extended KRUG family, or our aid deliveries.
Refugees are being supported with starter packages (food, clothing, daily necessities), with a special focus on women with children, and aid deliveries will be supported with purchases of relevant and highly demanded medication and food. Your donation is tax deductible.

TRADE SHOW PARTICIPATION
KRUG EXPEDITION plans to attend Abenteuer & Allrad, Adventure Southside and Caravan Salon as usual. More details around our trade show presence and how you can book your meeting will be published soon. We are very much looking forward to a summer filled with meeting old and new friends, and sharing your enthusiasm for all things expedition travel!
